"HERDING 'TIL IT HURTS"

"Thanks so much for all your help with Jackson. You have been a real life saver and I can't tell you that enough. You gave me the tools and instruction I needed and feel like I am set for life... He has stopped barking at the school busses and garbage trucks while in the house...I have even had him in the garage with me...the cars can go by without a single bark.

"Jackson is fitting in nicely as our family dog all thanks to you. I think of you often and all the help you gave me."

"TOYING" WITH DISASTER

"Recently when I came in..., Gracie raced outside. Before I could turn around, she was out in the street... I started screaming & running after her, & she paid no attention. Then I remembered our training & said, 'Gracie, come'. She stopped & came to me. I could hardly believe it! Loralei, we owe you 1000 thanks!"

TAKING A BITE OUT OF FEAR AGGRESSION

"Thanks for all help. I have noticed a difference on Nikki's behavior and I'm sure she will continue to improve the more I work with her. Couldn't have done it without your help. Thanks"

WATCHING OVER A PRECIOUS GEM

"Thank you for allowing me to take a vacation free of worry knowing that my most treasured friend was under your care was a great comfort to me as I hit the Big Apple! I never would have gone on this trip without my extreme confidence in your responsibility and honesty! Thank you."

NOW "SNAP" SNAPS TO IT!!

Wow, Loralei, I don't know how I would have done it without you!!! My little neglected, abused Shih Tzu, Snap, was given that appropriate name by the lady that rescued her from a freeway.. She "snapped" and growled at everything--my dogs, husband, anyone that came to the house. She had never walked on a leash and didn't even know "sit". Now, after working with her for a just a couple of months with your loving, yet firm methods of basic obedience training, she's a different dog--no biting, no growling, and you should see her prance down the street walking at my side. Thanks so much for giving me the guidance to make her a loving member of the family.

AN ALARM SYSTEM THAT WOULDN'T TURN OFF

Just wanted you to know how much I appreciate the training you gave to me and Katie. Katie is doing really, really good and we keep working at it. She hardly barks at all when someone walks by (unless I want her to). We are steadliy working on being around other dogs. Katie and I are working on the dog socialization thing and I think it would be good to take a group class. And if you're teaching it, I know we'll be ok! Thanks again for all your help.

JUST BECAUSE I'M A LAB DOESN'T MEAN I LIKE EVERYONE

I've been meaning to sit and write to let you know how well Baxter is doing. It is quite amazing how when I, as the owner, know how to communicate what I want, then Baxter seems more than happy to do it, as long as he understands what I want at that moment. He is calmer [when people approach]. Thanks for being the kind and caring person you are with dogs and realizing how owners feel about their pets. You have a special gift and it is appreciated.

PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME

Just wanted to send you a little note thanking you for your help with the gang. The difference in all the dogs is just incredible. While everything is going well now, we know the real test will be in January when the baby comes. All in all, though, the progress is remarkable. Thanks again for your help.

FROM A LION TO A LAMB

Just had to let you know that yesterday when I came home, I didn't realize the dogs were inside so when I opened the side door, McDuff bounded out and across the street and was gone before I could turn around. While I was changing, a nice youg woman rang my bell--she had 2 black dogs with her--one was hers and one was McDuff. I don't think she appreciated how amazing it was that he had come to her and let her put him on a leash BESIDE her dog--but it proves how much McDuff has changed, doesn't it?.... McDuff is great indoors now, sits immedidately on coming inside so he can be petted, he "stays" beautifully while I go outside. The other day, a new person was visiting and he was very pleasant, accepted petting, etc. He is no longer aggressive toward anyone we let in. Just wanted you to know that McDuff is more and more delightful to have around and is absolutely cured of his suspicion of people we introduce. McDuff says I love you, slurp, slurp.
